My brother emailed me today answering a question of mine and casually added at the end, “I hit a hole in one today.” I knew he was talking about golf. I was thrilled for him. It’s quite a moment as a golfer. And then I started thinking about all kinds of situations I might refer to as a hole in one; having a day without reacting, knocking something out of the park like a dance routine I watched tonight, surprising someone with a gift that has a deep meaning for them, or giving 100% of yourself to a friend needing support. And just maybe a hole in one experience is being able to lift above a day like my friend in Caracas had today with after shocks from last night’s earthquake and still make room for laughter and gratitude. Yea Scott, Yea Andreina. You both are holes in one in my heart.
As a golfer myself, I also hit a hole in one about 10 years ago. It’s a great feeling, a feeing you can re-live again and again. When we have bad days, I believe it is good to reflect back on those moments in life that made us feel good. We change change our current attitude.
This made my day… I’m so grateful for you and so happy to be a hole in one in your heart. And even more to be part of the Ringer family. THANK YOU for allowing me to share with you and most of all, for making a difference in my days. I love you! PS: You made me cry with this one. But sweet tears for sure! <3
